Thank you so much for contacting the Birmingham Boston Terrier Rescue (BhamBTR). BhamBTR is a premier 501(C)(3) non-profit status organization whose goal is to rescue Boston Terriers in need, assess and stabilize their health and emotional needs, find the best homes possible for them, provide information for pet owners in an effort to prevent these dogs from needing rescue in the future, and to work smoothly in conjunction with other rescuers. Since we are entirely run by volunteers, it may take a few days for someone to get back to you; and thus we appreciate your patience.
AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION
All Boston Terriers available for adoption have short bios and photos.

Once at a shelter, an owner-surrendered dog is typically euthanized (killed) within three days, and in some cases, within the same hour depending on overcrowding. Waiting until the last minute to call a rescue to surrender your dog is NOT good idea for your dog and does NOT constitute an URGENT SURRENDER. All rescues stay loaded.
You must have your dog up to date on vaccinations (rabies, distemper, parvo) and must make ALL vet records available to us to confirm date of vaccinations. BhamBTR is only staffed by volunteers and survives on donations, volunteerism, and charity. Many times, people call asking for help and then disappear, which then wastes valuable time for both BhamBTR and the DOG. If you call and truly want BhamBTR's help, it is YOUR responsibility to stay in communication and to provide in a prompt manner all of the materials we ask you to send.
